Mariah Gomez

Mariah Gomez is a graduate of the University of Texas Permian Basin with a Bachelors of Music and a Bachelors of Arts in Humanities. She began her guitar studies at age 11 and it became her favorite instrument ever since.

 

Mariah loves to share her love for the classical guitar with her students. She feels the classical guitar is such a beautiful, underrated art form. However, whichever genre you choose to study, Mariah's goal for her students is that they get to perform as soon as possible. Performing is such a thrilling experience, and Mariah loves to see her students blossom onstage.

Mariah leads a local mariachi group, Mariachi Flor Del Desierto, and is the bassist for local artist Yverika Gonzales.

When she is not teaching, Mariah loves to express her creativity through crafting, reading, or spending time with her chihuahua, Franklin---or cats Linus and Penelope.
